As most will know, my Dad is living Alzheimers. He's been and continues to be my daddio, confidante, supporter, a person I most admire, just to name a few things! So I am going to participate in this Walk for Alzheimer's in honour of him! He won't understand this now, but perhaps in another life time he will!

This event is being held to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.  (You really don't know unless you are unfortunate to know, how much resources are needed, wanted. Its not just your loved one with the disease that needs care and support.)
