Thank you for supporting me in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia, as well as their caregivers and families.
As many of you know, my mom was diagnosed with dementia in early 2023, shortly after suddenly losing her husband in November 2022. Over the past three years, her disease has progressed and she now lives in a secure and supportive long-term care home.
More recently, my dad has also been diagnosed. While he is still able to live at home with his loving wife, I am now seeing a different side of this disease — which makes supporting this cause even more meaningful to me.
Alzheimer’s and dementia take away independence, connection, and precious time during what should be some of life’s golden years.
This year, I am participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's in Edmonton for the third year to help raise funds for the Alzheimer Society. The money raised helps provide programs, services, education, and support to individuals and families navigating dementia. These resources truly make a difference in helping people manage the disease and maintain the best quality of life possible.
Thank you for any donation you are able to make. No matter the amount, your support helps make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by dementia.
Thank you again for your generosity, kindness, and support.
