Our family is participating in the Walk this year in honour of our grandma, who is living with dementia. This journey has shown us firsthand how deeply dementia affects not only the person living with it, but also the family members who love and support them every day.

We are walking to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer Society, whose programs, services, and resources provide meaningful support to individuals living with dementia and to the families walking alongside them. As the need for these services continues to grow, every contribution helps make a real difference.
