In Loving Memory of Bev:

Honoring a Champion for Alzheimer's Awareness, Bev's incredible dedication for fundraising have left a lasting impact.

Last year, she raised over $30,000, making her team, the third-highest fundraiser in Canada. Even while living with Lewy body dementia and Parkinson's, Bev's spirit and commitment shone brightly.

She passed away on August 23, 2024 with the assistance of MAID, but her legacy continues to inspire us all.

Our team is raising money in support of the Alzheimer Society "Walk for Alzheimer's" in Comox, BC on Sunday, May 25 at Comox Marina Park, Genoa and Spinnaker Buildings, sponsored by IG Wealth Management.

We’re walking this year because dementia is the fastest-growing healthcare issue of our time. As it touches more lives, the need for Alzheimer Society programs and services grows, too. These services are crucial—they empower people to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.
