We are participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in Comox on May 25 to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. 

Lorne has been living with vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease for quite some time. Judi was able to access information and support from the Alzheimer society in the beginning stages of the disease and we have been walking for him for a few years now. 

As the disease progresses, he is no longer able to communicate as he once did and is living in one of the new long term care homes with a dementia village style. 

The resources and support make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest and supporting their loved ones.
