The Walk is the largest annual fundraising event for the Alzheimer Society of B.C. and provides an opportunity for communities to take action to change the future for the over 85,000 British Columbians living with dementia and the people who care for them. The event is also an opportunity for us to honour and remember the people in our lives who have been affected by Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia.

Funds raised at the Walk will help provide programs and services for families on the dementia journey, providing the support they need to maintain the best possible quality of life throughout the progression of their journey, and enable critical research to change the future of the disease. We couldn’t do this work without the generous efforts of our fundraisers and donors!

Make twice the difference - Online donations matched until May 25!

From now until Sunday, May 25, every online donation will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to a grand total match of $10,000!

That’s right — thanks to the incredible generosity of our Victoria Walk Patron – a generous, anonymous donor – your gift will go twice as far. This means every dollar you donate or fundraise will have double the power to support British Columbians living with dementia and their families.
