Hi everyone and thanks for checking out this year's fundraising page. On May 10th I'll once again be tackling the Elk Beaver Lake 50k running race to inspire friends and family of Dad's to help reach my fundraising goal.  I've started calling it my "$50 for 50k" effort but please feel free to donate whatever is comfortable.  This terrible disease affects so many and in so many ways.  This is my effort to raise funds and awareness to benefit those in need and I could use your help.

Dad is now living at the Broadmead Lodge and receiving amazing care.  He has frequent visitors and engages in daily activities being especially fond of anything with music.  He needs constant care now and is confined to his wheelchair but maintains a very cheerful demeanor.  He's happy to tell visitors about his busy days working, golfing or travelling up and down the island and so...it seems, he's able to stay in his happy place surrounded by loved ones.  

Thanks again to all of the family, friends, and support staff who have shown support with well-wishes, a visit with dad, or a donation.
