On Sunday, May 25, we are participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's, presented by Go Auto, raising awareness and funds in support of the Alzheimer Society of B.C.’s programs and services. Funds will also enable critical research to change the future of the disease. 

Again this year, we will be out of town on that date. We will be on our way to Fort McMurray to visit granddaughter Rebecca, so will walk wherever our camper has landed.

The Walk is the Alzheimer Society of B.C.’s signature fundraising event, hosted in communities across the province, and a way to celebrate and remember people affected by dementia.

There are currently more than 85,000 people living with dementia in B.C. and nearly half a million across the country. This number is expected to double in the next 15 years.

With your help, the Alzheimer Society of B.C. can continue its vital work supporting people living with dementia, their caregivers and their families.
