Thank you for supporting me in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia like my mom (Heather), their caregivers my dad (Don) and families.

I am walking in honor of my mom, Heather, who has been battling dementia for several years. Watching her slowly lose pieces of who she was has been heartbreaking. Up until recently, my dad, Don, was her full-time caregiver, giving her the love and support she needed every day. As the disease progressed, we had to make the difficult decision to move her into full-time care.

Alzheimer’s and other dementias affect millions of families, and we need to do everything we can to support research, find treatments, and provide care for those affected. Your donation, no matter the amount it helps fund critical research and support programs for families like mine.
