On Sunday, May 31, the Newcomers’ Club of Greater Victoria will be taking part in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s, in support of the Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon.

As a club dedicated to welcoming women, building friendships, and fostering a strong sense of community in Greater Victoria, this is a meaningful way for us to come together and support the more than 85,000 British Columbians living with dementia, along with the families and caregivers who walk alongside them.

Funds raised through the Walk help provide essential in-person and virtual programs, services, and education, ensuring families have the support they need to maintain the best possible quality of life throughout the progression of the disease. Donations also contribute to critical research that is changing the future of dementia care.
