Once again, the Alz You Need Is Love team will be participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in White Rock on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

This year’s walk feels very different for our team as we grieve the loss of our courageous and fun-loving captain, Cathy Schweers, who always reminded us to laugh, play and live life to the fullest.

Every year, our team proudly wore colorful costumes that matched Cathy's love of life in addition to our signature rose-colored glasses. The glasses we wear are a symbol of something that is important to our small but mighty team: even along the difficult journey of dementia, there can still be moments of joy, happiness and hope.
