Thank you for supporting me in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia and their caregivers and families. I'm participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's in Saint John on Sunday, May 25th to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. I am walking in memory of my grandmother Leona Eldridge, who died of Alzheimer's disease in 1992.
The amazing work of the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick makes all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest. They provide programming, advocacy and resources to support individuals living the dementia journey as well as their care partners. I have been a volunteer with ASNB for over 10 years, and currently serve as President of the Board of Directors.
