Thank you for supporting me in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia, their caregivers and families.
As many of you know we lost our beloved mom, grandma, friend, sister and wife this year. It’s been a very difficult road and though we walked in honour of mom last year, this year a few short months after her passing we walk in her memory. Dementia roads are never easy and your supports help for those in need. My mom when being diagnosed with Lewy was asked to write a sentence at that time mom was struggling but she wrote A sentence as she looked out the window. It was simple and she wrote The Sky is Blue. She handed the paper to the doctor and said “The sky is blue. By Linda Clarke.” She was so proud like it was ground breaking. You what it was.
So please help me raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.
Thank you for whatever donation you can make. No matter how small or big, you are making a difference in the lives of people affected by dementia. Many people are affected by this brain disease every year.
Thank you again for your support.
