Help me hit the high notes and raise $2000 for dementia support in NS!
Hi friends!
It's that time of year - time to raise $2000 to support the incredible work of the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia!
This year, I'm coming full circle after my 2024 hip surgery - I'll be showing you what my surgically-improved hip can do by running the 5KM in the Bluenose Marathon!
And to motivate folks to donate, as I reach specific milestones I'll be saying thank you in the best way I know how - by making utterly ridiculous videos themed to my favorite MUSICALS! My Backyard Broadway series will be sure to make you smile (or cringe!).
This is gonna be fun! Please consider making a donation. Dementia affects almost 20,000 people in NS - and tens of thousands more who care for them. My Grandma passed from this cruel disease in the 1980s in the UK - and I'm sad to say that over 40 years later the issues she faced are still affecting people today.
