I’m participating again this year in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in Halifax on May 25th to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.  

I am walking in support of my Mother, Maureen. Mom was diagnosed over 5 years ago with Dementia. Mom is a vary social and outgoing lady, who loves all activities at The Berkeley, where she presently lives in the Memory Care Unit. Mom very much lives in the moment, she enjoys time with family, she may get our names confused, but knows us all.
