WHY AM I RAISING AWARENESS? 

Currently, there are over 650,000 Canadians living with dementia. This number is expected to rise to 1 MILLION by 2030. These funds will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia, their caregivers and families.
I’m participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in Halifax on Sunday, May 25th to help raise money for my workplace; the Alzheimer Society,. We are trying to continue to try and meet growing demand for programs and services across NS. These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.
