They say that when someone you love has Alzheimer’s, you experience a thousand little goodbyes. But between those moments, there are also a thousand reasons to keep holding on, to keep sharing memories, and to keep showing up.
My Dad is currently living with this disease, and it has already changed our lives in so many ways. Watching him, with my mom by his side, navigate this journey is why this cause has become so incredibly near to my heart. I’m walking not just for him, but for every family who knows the weight of this diagnosis.
On May 31st, I’ll be participating in the 2026 IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s. I’ve started a team called The Forget-Me-Nots to honor my Dad and help fund the support services that families like ours will one day rely on.
If you’re free and want to walk with me, I’d love for you to join our team. Or, if you’re able to chip in a few dollars toward our goal, that would mean the world too. No pressure either way—just having your support means a lot. ![]()
