Dearest Family and Friends,

Thank you for supporting me in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia, their caregivers and families.

I’m participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in Tweed, ON on May 25, 2024. I will be helping to raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.

I love you all so much, and I know that so many of you have loved ones struggling with dementia. I walk in memory of my Dad and of all the precious friends and relatives I had that have now passed away, but struggled with dementia in their later years. Last month, I lost two more. 

I also walk for those friends and relatives that are struggling now with dementia. It is a difficult journey for them and for their family, friends, and caregivers.

I am so grateful for all of the work that the Alzheimer's Society does to help, through their many programs and services available. Many of these programs were not there, when my Dad needed them. Education and awareness has come so far, since then.

Thank you, each and every one of you who support me in trying to make a difference in my little way.

And again, I will walk with a prayer list and pray for those of my family and friends  that I know of, that are now experiencing dementia. 
It seems that every year, a few pass away, but a few new ones are added to my prayer list.
