Ten years ago, my world changed forever when my mother was diagnosed with dementia.

I couldn’t have imagined the daily challenges, the emotional toll, and the strength it would take to walk that journey — but we did it, together.

Three years ago, I transitioned from being my mother's full-time caregiver back to being her son. That shift was incredibly difficult, but it also lit a fire in me:

I knew I wanted to help other caregivers navigating the same path.

That’s why I joined the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's, and this year marks my 4th consecutive year as a proud participant.

I’ve brought back the UNBREAKABLE WALK — a symbol of the resilience of caregivers. We may bend under the weight of responsibility, grief, and uncertainty, but we do not break.

Now, I’m walking not only for my mom, but for the countless others living with dementia — and for the caregivers who walk beside them every single day.
