Thank you for supporting me in raising awareness and funds that will improve the lives of people living with dementia, their caregivers, and their families.

I’m participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in Hamilton on May 24th to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest. My grandfather, William Clarke, fought dementia for years until his passing in 2019. He was a strong and loving man who held compassion for everyone. Growing up, I watched how this disease affected him and my family negatively, and the education provided to families by the Alzheimer's Society made a huge impact. Dementia consumes the lives of patients, loved ones, and caregivers, putting a strain on their emotional and physical well-being. The Alzheimer Society is essential in supporting people during these vulnerable times. Through my experience volunteering with the Society, I have seen the first-hand effects of the programming they offer.
