Welcome to my Participant Page!
Thank you for supporting me in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia, their caregivers and families.
I’m participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in Hamilton on May 24th, 2025 to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services.
I am walking with the Gilbrea Centre for Studies in Aging at McMaster University - a team committed to making a difference in the lives of those impacted by dementia. The Gilbrea Centre is a hub for interdisciplinary research and advocacy and are dedicated to addressing issues of aging and improving the well-being of older adults in our communities.
At the Gilbrea Centre, we recognize the importance of involving people with dementia and their care partners in the research process, ensuring that their experiences and insights are at the forefront of our work. By participating in the 2025 Walk, we aim to contribute to the advancement of inclusive and person-centred research - fostering a deeper understanding of dementia and creating better outcomes for those living with dementia.
Thank you for whatever donation you can make. No matter how small or big, you are making a difference in the lives of people affected by dementia.
Thank you again for your generous commitment and support.
