As a team committed to making a difference in the lives of those impacted by dementia, the Gilbrea Centre is raising funds in support of the Alzheimer Society through our participation in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's in Hamilton on Saturday, May 24th, 2025. The Gilbrea Centre for Studies in Aging at McMaster University is a hub for interdisciplinary research and advocacy dedicated to addressing issues of aging and improving the well-being of older adults.

At the Gilbrea Centre, we recognize the importance of involving people with dementia and their care partners in the research process, ensuring that their experiences and insights are at the forefront of our work. By participating in the Walk, we aim to contribute to the advancement of inclusive and person-centered research, ultimately fostering a deeper understanding of dementia and creating better outcomes for those living with dementia.
