My family will be participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's in Hamilton on Saturday May 24th, @ William Connell Park. The money raised will help to support the Alzheimer's society. 

MY FAMILY will be taking our 1st steps at our 1st walk.  The decision to participate this year is because of my father, Roger who is diagnosed and livng with Alzheimer's disease. Dementia is one of the fastest growing healthcare issues of our time. In a short time period, we have witnessed a steady mental and physical decline of my father's overall health along with the toll that this disease has had on my family, especially my mother, the caregiver. He struggles to recognizes certainly people and/or places including his own home of 40 plus years.
