Team M & M (Manes & Mandolino) is back and ready to make an even LARGER impact than the past!  Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our team and helped support our passion for giving to this amazing organization which helps soo many of our friends, families and neighbours.   

I am a proud member of “Team M & M” for the Walk for Alzheimer’s.

As most of you know, the Alzheimer's Society holds a very special place in my heart.  My sister and I have put in efforts in the past hosting charity events to raise money and awareness for Alzheimers.  

My grandmother had battled Alzheimer's for about 15 years, which has been the main reason for our passion in supporting the Alzheimer's Society.  We have seen first hand the impact the disease has on the person diagnosed, as well as the family and friends surrounding that individual.  It's been a very heart breaking journey seeing my Nonna (grandma) forget her most reputable recipes, and then eventually even forgetting her own children and grandchildren's names.  Although my Nonna departed our world, she has left us with more love, hope and strength to battle this disease than ever!

We are determined to continue supporting the Alzheimer's Society, but unfortunately we can't do it alone.  If you can find any way possible to help contribute... whether it's $5, $25 or $100, it would mean soo much to not only MY family, but everyone in our surrounding area dealing with Alzheimer's.
