I'm walking for Alzheimer’s support again this year, in honour of my dad's journey with dementia.
As you may know, this is a personal endeavour for me, as my father was diagnosed with Frontal Temporal Dementia 7 years ago. Lovingly referred to as Poppa B, he's known for treating our friends like his own children, welcoming them into our home with open arms and a warm meal. Though these past 7 years have brought their challenges, we still see dad's warmth shine through, greeting everyone he meets with a big hug.
The Alzheimer Society Toronto has been a vital support for us, and I'm committed to helping them continue their important work.
