Hello, I'm Olivia - Sales and Operations Manager at ONESource Moving Oakville.
As a granddaughter, daughter, and business professional who works closely with seniors every day, I have seen firsthand how dementia and Alzheimer’s affect not only the individual, but entire families.
I have witnessed the quiet strength of caregivers, the emotional weight of difficult decisions, and the importance of compassion, patience, and support during times of transition.
Families facing Alzheimer’s often experience confusion, anxiety, grief, caregiver burnout, safety concerns, and financial stress — all at once. Even simple decisions can become emotionally overwhelming. During these moments, families need more than just services; they need people they can genuinely trust to walk beside them with empathy and care.
The reasons I am participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's are deeply personal to me. My Grandma, Helen “Rick” Choma, lived with Alzheimer’s before she passed away in 2013. My Papa, Captain Marcel “Alex” Nazar, was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia before his passing in 2024.
This year, I am proud to walk as part of Team ONESource Oakville and honour my Grandma and Papa.
Thank you for supporting our team and our community. Thank you for any donation you are able to make — no matter the size, your generosity makes a meaningful difference in the lives of people affected by dementia and Alzheimer’s.
I am looking forward to walking alongside you all on Saturday May 30th.
