As staff members of the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent (ASCK), we witness the various dementia journeys of our clients, their care partners and family. Our goal is to empower clients to navigate the challenges of dementia with dignity and confidence. We aim to provide the best possible care, resources, and guidance needed to enhance their quality of life and maintain meaningful connections within the community.

Every dollar we receive stays in Chatham-Kent and directly supports our community. We are participating in the Walk this year so that we can continue to provide care to our current and future clients. Ontario will have a 202% dementia increase between 2020 and 2050.

Our Walk event continues to serve as a beacon of hope for the 3000+ people currently living with dementia in our community. It’s not only an event that raises funds for our essential programs and services, but it’s also an event that raises awareness and spirits.
