I am absolutely delighted to be named the Walk Ambassador for this year's Walk for Alzheimer's - Alzheimer Society of Dufferin County.

I truly thank you for supporting me in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia, their caregivers and families.

The reason I am walking this year is in support of my mother, who passed away in late 2023 after battling dementia for 14 years. My connection is also through a number of family members and friends who I have lost over the years. I have seen first-hand the toll it takes on loved ones during what I call a slow demise of truly exceptional and impactful people. So many are affected by this terrible disease. 

Your help in sponsoring me to raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society of Dufferin County is greatly appreciated. Doing so can help them to meet the growing demand for programs and services.
