My grandma Gillian lived with Alzheimer’s and our family experienced firsthand how difficult that journey can be. We also experienced the difference the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region can make through programs, support and simply knowing we weren’t alone.
That experience stayed with me. It’s part of what led me to where I am today and why this cause means so much to me.
I’m fundraising so more families in our community can access the same support we did. With 12,000 people living with dementia in Durham Region, the need continues to grow.
I invite you to donate today to help make a meaningful difference for families impacted by dementia in our community.
Thank you for your generous support.
