This year I am walking in the 2026 Alzheimer’s Walk in memory of my father and in honour of the many family members and friends who are living with this heartbreaking disease.
Alzheimer’s has touched our family in a very personal way. Watching someone you love slowly lose memories, independence, and pieces of who they are is incredibly difficult. But through this walk, we have the opportunity to turn that pain into purpose.
I’m walking to help raise awareness, support families who are facing this journey, and contribute to the research and programs that bring hope for better treatments and, one day, a cure.
Our team, The Memory Keepers, walks to remember those we have lost, to support those currently living with Alzheimer’s, and to stand beside the caregivers who give so much every day.
