Thank you for supporting me in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia, their caregivers and families. As most of you know, my husband Mike journeyed with this progressively debilitating disease for 15 years. The local Alzheimer's Society played an integral part in providing support to Mike and myself - I am very grateful!
"The Happy Wanderers", Lynda Moore and myself, are participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in Kingston on May 30th, 2026. The funds raised for the local Alzheimer's Society, help to meet the growing demand for programs and services. These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest. Right now more than half a million Canadians are living with some sort of dementia including Alzheimer's Disease. This number is expected to grow to a million by 2031!
