Thank you for supporting the London Search and Rescue (LSAR) team in raising awareness and funds for the Alzheimer Society during the 2023 Walk for Alzheimers. These funds will make a significant difference in the lives of people living with dementia, their caregivers and families.

For over 20 years, LSAR has searched for lost individuals in London and the surrounding communities. Many of these searches have involved individuals with dementia, so supporting this cause is near and dear to our team. Our team has been blessed with special training and education from individuals from the Alzheimer Society and other experts in dementia care so that we can be equipped to locate and care for lost individuals with dementia. Many members of our team also have experiences in both our personal and professional life supporting and caring for individuals with dementia.

Supporting LSAR in the Walk for Alzheimer’s will help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.
