Thank you for supporting me and London Search and Rescue (LSAR) in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia, their caregivers and families.

For over 20 years, LSAR has searched for lost individuals in London and the surrounding communities. Many of these searches have involved individuals with dementia, so this walk is near and dear to our team. As a Nurse Practitioner - I have also worked with hundreds patients with dementia and their families and have witnessed the hardships that they experience. I have also had the pleasure of being part of their lives and their care through the best and toughest moments in their lives.

I’m participating  in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.
