Andrea McGee
Team Me and Bobby McGee
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I have participated in many fundraisers before and none have been as personal as this is to me right now. My Dad has Alzheimers. It is a recent diagnosis and I have processed a great deal of this on my own. I am sharing it now so you know what is going with me and my family and to ask for your help.
Alzheimers isn't a new disease. But it is new to my Dad and his family. I have seen the impact it has had on him, my step mother and my siblings, how we interact and support him. One thing that has not changed for my Dad is how much love there is in his life. I feel it most in the strength of his hugs!
My Dad is a pretty important person to me. We have been on so many adventures together. This walk & your donations is another adventure for us. Can you support me, my Dad, & Team Me and Bobby McGee by donating to the Walk for Alzheimers? It is on May 25, 2024 in London. I'll be there with my Dad and the rest of our family. If you'd like to join us, please join the team! The links for both are on this page.
The money raised goes directly to the Alzheimer Society so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by Alzheimers are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.
Thank you for whatever you are able to contribute, your generous commitment and support.
