We're participating for our mother and grandmother who has lived with dementia since her diagnosis in 2015. As the years have passed, we've seen the disease take away her parts of her memory, voice and mobility. Despite that, she remains a gentle, caring and compassionate mom and Oma. Her spirit shines through even though her mind fades away.
