Thank you for supporting me in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia, their caregivers and families.

I’m participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in St Thomas on Saturday, May 24, 2025 to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.  Through my role at the Alzheimer's Society Southwest Partner’s I have seen first hand the positive impact programs and services have on people living with dementia and their families. 

This year, I am walking to honour my Uncle Larry who’s life has been affected by Alzheimer’s disease.  In our hearts, he will always be our soft hearted, kind, comical uncle that had an independent, sassy and stubborn side to him.  Life has changed in so many ways for him and his family while they navigate the progression of this disease.  It is important to bring awareness to the community of the journey walked for so many. In addition, I want to recognize specual friends whom are travelling
 simular journeys with their loved ones.
