Thank you for supporting my efforts to raise awareness and funds for people living with dementia, as well as their caregivers and families.

My Poppa has been living with Alzheimer’s disease for the past 10 years, and we’ve seen his condition progress rapidly in recent months. I’ve witnessed firsthand the profound impact this disease has had—not just on him, but on my Grams, my Mom, and our entire family.

Throughout this journey, the Alzheimer Society has been a lifeline. They’ve provided invaluable programming, emotional support, and helped my Mom and Grams navigate complex healthcare systems during some of the most difficult moments we’ve faced. As someone who works in the nonprofit and social services sector, I know how crucial consistent funding is to keep programs like these going. It truly does take a village to support vulnerable people—and that village needs strong, well-resourced organizations like the Alzheimer Society.

That’s why I’m participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in St. Thomas on May 24, 2025. I’m walking to raise funds so the Alzheimer Society can continue to meet the growing demand for their services and provide hope, dignity, and support to more families like mine.
