McGarrell Long Term Care is participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s on Tuesday, May 27th to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.  Since most of the residents are not able to participate in the May 24th event, Family Council has initiated a walk in the neighbourhood for the residents. A morning where residents can enjoy an outing coupled with activities / games / as well as making connections with the Kindergarten and Grade 8 students from Masonville who will be joining us on the walk.
