Thank you for supporting me in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia/Alzheimer's, their caregivers and families.  I'm walking for my mom - Teresa Almeida - as well as her sister (Angela), brother (Gregorio), and my brother-in-law (Jim).  Mom is still with us and has herself enjoyed this walk, though it has become too much for her.

I’m participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in London on May 24, 2025 to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services.  There is so much need out there and the Alzheimer's Society has directly supported my family and me on this journey. Through the education, day programs, and personal counseling offered, I have benefitted greatly as it's helped me navigate the different stages with my mom.  I am grateful and thankful these resources exist, especially since it has helped to keep my mom smiling and for me to be her primary caregiver.
