Thank you for supporting us in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in London, on Saturday, May 24 to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest. 

This is my third year participating with the Walk - the first year I volunteered the day of the Walk, and the second year I was a walker (Mom watched). For those that may not know, the Alzheimer's Society is near and dear to my heart as my dear Mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in January 2023. Immediately after her diagnosis, I reached out to the Society for some information and support. This was all new to me and they were wonderful. Since that first day, I was an avid supporter. Since May 1, 2023 Mom's been an enthusiastic participant of their Social program, every Monday afternoon. Every program is free of charge but the effects are invaluable.

As a caregiver, I'm still learning to navigate the challenges that this disease imposes on our loved ones. Everyone's journey is different, and I never plan to have it figured out, but I know that support is just a call or email away. The Society is always there to help, so I figured the least I can do is try to help them too. 

So whatever donation you can make, no matter how big or small - we thank you, truly. We know things are tough for everyone right now, so we'd be sincerely grateful for any support you can offer. You are making a difference in the lives of people affected by dementia - like Mom and I.
