Thank you for supporting my family and I in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia, their caregivers and families.

I’m participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in London on May 25th to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.  

In February of 2023, my mother was diagnosed with Early-Onset Alzheimer's Disease. At the time, I was 15. Over the past few years, my world has completely changed. My mother, Michelle Ferguson, is the strongest, most intelligent, most kind-hearted individual I have ever known, and wil ever know. To know my mother is to love her. My mom has devoted over two decades of her life to the public education system and has loved every second of it. She would do anything to be able to teach again. However, Alzheimer's has tragically taken that away from her. Despite this, she is the most incredible woman in my life, and always has been my greatest role model. I walk for her.
