Hello Everyone, 

As you all know I have been doing the Walk for Alzheimer's for many years. I started out doing it because working in Long Term Care I met many people who had benefitted from services provided by the Society. Now working at the society myself I get to see first-hand the support and guidance we are giving to families through our many different programs. 

I have met many people living with dementia and it's true what they "If you've met one person with dementia then you've met one person with dementia". No two journey's look the same and the great thing about the Alzheimer's Society is that we offer many different services to assist families at all stages. 

If you choose to donate please know that the money is being used to help a large number of families in our community. You are making a difference! 

My family will be joining me again this year, and costume suggestions are always appreciated. Last year it rained on our parade but we still had a great time we are ready to rock and walk again this year.
