2026 Walk Team
Who are we walking for? Everyone. We've had grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and so many others that have been touched by Alzheimer's and other dementias.
In April and early May we are walking a portion of the Camino, from Porto, Portugal to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. While this is a bucket list adventure for one of us (hint..it's not Ian), we will also be taking approximately 260,000 steps in honour and support families impacted by dementia. Bentley gets to sit this one out!
All funds raised through the Walk support local counselling, education, support groups and therapeutic recreation programs delivered by the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners.
