Two of my sisters and I have created a Team to raise awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia, their caregivers and families.
In 2023, our Dad was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and he has been participating in the social program at the Alzheimer's Society. He really enjoys the activities and the opportunity to meet new people.
Our Team, Stanley's Striders is participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in St. Thomas on May 31st to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer's Society, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.
Our Team will match the donations we receive, dollar for dollar, up to a maximum of $750. Thank you for whatever donation you can make. No matter how small or big, you are making a difference in the lives of people affected by dementia.
