Hello! My name is Tammy and I am walking for my Dad and my Aunt Dill.
A year ago we lost my mom suddenly to glioblastoma cancer and I became my dad’s power of attorney. This has been the hardest task of my life. Some days he has absolutely no idea of who I am and other days he gives me the tightest hugs. I cherish every moment with him.
Now, my Aunt Dill (Dads sister) also suffers with Alzheimer’s as well and the doctors keep telling us that it’s not hereditary, but I can tell that my whole family is worried. This is why we need more funding for research. We all have more questions than answers.
