Hi Everybody!

As many of you know, my wife, Susan, is afflicted with a form of dementia and as a result I have become actively involved with the Alzheimer’s Society of Muskoka, serving as a board member.

The Alzheimer's Society of Muskoka (ASM) is staffed by an incredibly dedicated group of people who are committed to provide help to all those in Muskoka and Parry Sound suffering from Alzheimer's disease and various forms of dementia, including support programs for caregivers. 

Although some government support is received, delivery of our programs is  greatly dependent on contributions from  the public.  Details of the programs provided can be obtained by clicking on this link or pasting it in your browser:

Since the last Walk, Sue had broken her hip and is now confined to a wheelchair.  She remains in good health and despite continuing loss of  cognitive capacity and her confinement to a wheelchair,  we are still able to enjoy afternoon walks outdoors during the week. On Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 12:00 pm , both Sue and I will join in our annual IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's at Memorial Park in Bracebridge.

We have relied on your wonderful generosity in past years to raise substantial sums for the Alzheimer's Society of Muskoka.  My personal goal this year is to raise the sum of $10,000 and with your help we can do that.  

As I did last year, I undertake to personally double the largest donation to a maximum donation of $2000.
