The IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s raises funds to provide and connect people to information, services and community programs such as counselling, respite care, support groups and more for people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia across Canada.
There are 750,000 Canadians who live with dementia and that number is expected to rise to 1 million by 2030. Muskoka has one of the fastest rising rates of Alzheimer's diagnoses in all of Ontario - no matter where people living with dementia or their family and caregivers live, they should have the resources they need, close to home.
