Dear Friends & Family,

Thank you for supporting me in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia, their caregivers and families.

I’m participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in St. Catharines on May 28,2023 to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services.These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.  

When our beautiful Mom was diagnosed with vascular dementia our family was devastated. It was difficult and heartbreaking to process that our Mom had an incurable disease. We were determined to make the best of her time on this winding, difficult, challenging journey. We made many changes over the years as the disease progressed - always adjusting our sails. There are many challenges, difficult and sad days but there are also sweet, beautiful, delightful, fun days that filled our hearts  - gifts that we will always treasure.We don’t get to choose what life throws at us but we do get to choose how we respond and that is with love. Our sweet Mom continues to be loving, kind, compassionate and so brave as she battles this difficult disease.
