In Niagara 12,477 people are living with dementia. Like many families, we have been personally touched by this disease . My Nana was diagnosed and ultimately passed from this awful disease. My best friends father Bob has suffered for years with FTD, and more recently my father Rick has been diagnosed. This disease not only takes from the diagnosed, it changes the lives of those who love them. My family has decided to do what we can to help. Our family, including my Dad, will be walking on May 31st to help raise money.
So please - help me raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.
Thank you for whatever donation you can make. No matter how small or big, you are making a difference in the lives of people affected by dementia.
Thank you again for your generous commitment and support. I appreciate all of you.
