Winnie's famous phrase of "Come on, let's go for a walk" will certainly echo in eternity.
Sadly, as her dementia progresses, Winnie is now confined to a wheelchair and is unable to go for those walks anymore, so I will walk for her.
I also am walking in appreciation for, and to bring awareness to the amazing group at the Alzheimer Society who came through when we needed them the most in providing emergency care, support and resources when we needed it the most.
Thank you for supporting me in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people like my Mom living with dementia, their caregivers and families.
